Ford Restoration Project - Phase 3
1. The radiator is removed, pressure-tested, and painted, and the engine is cleaned and painted “Ford Red”. A good used set of exhaust manifolds are located, painted, and installed, along with all new exhaust pipes and a muffler. (Can’t wait to hear the sweet purr of that flat-head V-8.)
2. The Barton-American pump is partially disassembled, cleaned, primed, and painted.
3. The body is finished painted (3 colors – what a masking job!!) and pushed to the back of the shed for hardening.
| 4. The wheels, gas tank, and various other small parts are prepped and painted, and set aside for future installation. |
