1949 E - 66 SEAGRAVE PUMPER - CHASSIS NUMBER E – 1705

This handsome unit was originally delivered to Woodbridge, Conn as a tanker / pump combination, with a 1000 gallon tank and a 750 GPM pump, powered by the legendary Seagrave V-12 engine. The original sale price was $15,000.00. It was later sold to the Ansonia, Conn and Seymour, Conn. Fire Deptartments, and then given to the Kerite Wire Co. for use as a plant Fire Brigade unit at their Derby facility. Acquired by the Wires & Fires group in 2002, it was given a frame – up restoration from 2006 to 2008, and now is proudly displayed at their Portsmouth Museum, as well as at parades and shows.
